Camp A names

During the summer Camp Adventure counselors often don't tell the children our real names.  Instead we pick a theme and pick a new name on the theme and just go by that new name the entire summer.  This year we walked into the center and they had super hero wall clings all over the center.  It was easy to decide to be super hero's, although we did debate on if we should be villains instead but good always prevails!  I am Ms. Batman (works well because I'm the only one with a black shirt).  After debating with the children about me being Ms. Batman not Ms. Batgirl, I finally told them Batman is my brother so I just help him out when he needs it (also he cannot come visit because he is too busy fighting crime in Gotham). The children love to try and figure out our names and I am probably the worst at calling the other counselors by their real name and also saying mine all the time.  I think working at the Preschool and saying Ms. Kasey all the time so the children know my name really works against me for having a fake name.  I even started to say Kasey on the intercom this week but nobody noticed except the other counselors it came out something like "if you want time on the computers come with Ms. Kaaaaaaaa Batman to the computer room." I really like my name this year but I do need to work on my Batman voice! I've also been Ms. Poppy with the British kids in Germany (nature name) and Ms. Zia (Korean pop stars) in Korea.

In this picture the two teen staff are on the left Mr. Torch/Zac, Ms. Phoenix/Bianca, then it's the day camp: Ms. Robin/Emily, Me/Batman, Ms. Thor/Victoria, Mr. Flash/Josh, and Ms. Storm/Dani
